EcoMet® 4000 is a variable speed 12" (305mm) grinder-polisher that delivers the power you
need for either manual or semi-automatic specimen preparation applications. This tabletop
machine utilizes a heavy-duty 1 Hp (740W) DC motor to provide variable speeds from 10 to
500rpm in 10rpm increments. Unit comes complete with aluminum platen, splash guard with
removable cover, plus a sampling of SiC grinding papers and polishing cloths. CE marked.

EcoMet® Twin Variable Speed Grinder-Polisher is a dual platen 8" (203mm) table-top
grinder-polisher with variable speed selection from 10-350 rpm in 10 rpm increments. Impact
resistant cabinet, bowl flush and pop-up faucets add to the convenience of this compact and
versatile unit. This unit comes complete with aluminum platens, splash guards, removable
covers, and a sampling of SiC grinding papers and polishing cloths. CE marked.

EcoMet® base unit converting them into a central force semi-automatic preparation system.
Both AutoMet's are microprocessor controlled using a systems approach, important for
productivity and reproducibilty. The front facia panels feature a LED display, controlling such
variables as time, force, head direction, platen speed and fluid dispensing. The AutoMet® 3000
moves to the next level of automation by adding nonvolatile 99 method memory with 9 steps
per method programmability. Specimen holders sold separately. CE marked.
