The message indicators define the type of message received and flash until the
message is read.

Receiving/Reading Messages

When a message is received, your beeper alerts with the selected alert (chirp, audio,
vibrate, musical, or no alert). A message indicator (for example 1 , 2 , etc.) lets you
know how many messages you have received.
