4500 Thermostat Installation Instructions
If you are installing the 4500 in a heat only system, the setup will look like
Figure 4 below.

Some heating systems, such as the forced-air type, have a fan (connections
are shown). Other heat-only systems may not include a fan, in which case
the fan connections are not used.
If you are installing the 4500 in a cooling only system, the setup will look like
Figure 5 below.
