Table 2. Reading the cartridge-indicator LED
LED status Meaning
Off Not ready
Steady green Ready
Flashing green Activity
Flashing amber Fault
RDX cartridge status
The cartridge was not inserted correctly, or the
drive has no power.
The cartridge is ready.
The cartridge is in the process of reading, writing,
or seeking.
The drive has detected a cartridge-fault condition.

the drive).
