Getting Started
Battery Installation:
The trimmer requires 1 (one) 'AA' alkaline battery.
1. To open battery compartment, turn base of the unit approximately ¼" inch
counterclockwise and pull off.
2. Insert 1 (one) "AA" battery into unit, positive end in first.
3. Replace the base, and turn ¼" inch clockwise to lock in place.
4. Dead batteries should be removed immediately and disposed of properly.
5. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries. The lower voltage in recharged batteries
impairs performance.
Battery Cautions – PLEASE NOTE: The use of non-alkaline batteries will harm
operating performance. Batteries should not be left in the unit – if the unit is not in
use for long periods of time. To prevent battery corrosion, the unit should be kept
in a dry environment. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
