Close the battery-chamber cover.
The camera takes two AA alkaline (LR6)
batteries (supplied) or two AA rechargeable
Ni-MH batteries (sold separately). Insert the
batteries in the camera as described below.

Perform the following steps before any
troubleshooting.

Turn the camera off, and remove the battery.
After approx. one minute, insert the battery
again, and turn the camera on.

Reset the camera setting (see page 73 of the
supplied Owner's Manual (CD)).
