Problem

Warning: Always unplug the Floormate before performing maintenance/troubleshooting checks.
Solution
• Check the fuse in the plug. Always replace the fuse in the
plug with a British 13amp fuse
• Empty recovery tank, remove any debris from filter.
If washing filter allow 24 hours to fully dry before refitting
• T he recovery tank has an automatic shut off to prevent the
tank from overflowing. If this is activated, the machine will
not pick up and the sound of the motor will change.
The recovery tank will need to be emptied
• Ensure recovery tank is locked into place
• The nozzle may be blocked go to 'Taking care of
your machine'
• Clean water tank may not be locked in position
• Clean water tank may be empty and need to be refilled
• Mode selector switch is set to PICK UP, change to WASH
• Check the brushes for blockages and clear
