This inserter is an optional unit for the MX-5500N/MX-6200N/MX-
7000N series of digital complex machines. With the inserter
installed, blank sheets or printed sheets can be inserted as covers
(made of cardboard) or tabbed sheets without being subject to the
printing process (and without passing through a fixing unit). When
the inserter is combined with a finisher (optional) and a punch unit
(optional), printed sheets can proceed to the hole punching or sta-
pling process without being subject to the copying process (or with-
out passing through the main unit).
