1. Remove the battery compartment cover and
replace when fi nished.
2. Install one 9V alkaline battery as indicated by
the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.
3. Repeat these steps to install batteries in the
Charging Station (three AA alkaline batteries)
and Train Station (three AA alkaline batteries).

Setting Up
1. Assemble the train track as shown
above
2. Turn on each piece in the order below.
3. Set the locomotive
on the track and
connect the cars.
4. Use the forward and
reverse switches on
the controller to move
the train.

Charging Your Train
When your train slows down it needs to
be recharged.
1. Turn and hold the Switch
on the Controller to Switch 1
2. The divert track switch at the
intersection lets the train
drive into the charger
3. To charge the engine,
press down the Charging
Button when the engine
is in the Charging Garage.
4. The red indicator
lights up to show the
Forward
engine is charging.
On/Off
5. The green light indicates
charging is complete.
6. Press the release button
to release the engine.
