3. CONTROLS

1 FLYWHEEL BRAKE LEVER
This lever is connected to the engine flywheel brake and the ignition switch.
The engine will not start and run unless this lever is moved forward.
To start the engine and blade, push the lever forward and hold it against the
handlebar while operating the recoil starter. Continue to hold the lever against
the handlebar while mowing.
To stop the engine and blade, release the lever.
