Refer to ʻConnecting The Set-Top Box To Audio Equipmentʼ in regards to connecting to a digital audio amp.
Select "A/V" in the menu
Press the MENU button.
Press the / on the remote control to highlight
the "A/V" icon and press the or SEL button.
Select "Digital Audio"
Press the / button on the remote control to
highlight the "Digital Audio" icon and press the
or SEL button.
Digital audio output mode set up
Press the / button on the remote control to
select your digital audio transmission format (Dolby or
PCM as appropriate to your particular equipment).
