2.5.1 Basic Settings

You can set parameters that are used for the wireless stations to
connect to this router. The parameters include Mode, ESSID, Channel
Number and Associated Client.

It allows you to set the AP to AP, Bridge or
WDS mode.
It allows you to select the wireless band:
802.11(B+G+N),802.11(B+G),802.11b and /
or 802.11g. You can select B+G+N mode to
allow all 802.11b,802.11g and 802.11n
clients to connect to this wireless access
point.
This is the name of the wireless access
default
point. All devices in the same wireless LAN
should have the same ESSID.
The wireless channel used by the wireless

access point. All devices in the same
wireless LAN should use the same channel.
If you want to combine more than one
network, you have to set this access point to
"AP Bridge-Point to Point mode", "AP
Bridge-Point to Multi-Point mode" or "AP
Bridge-WDS mode". You have to enter the
MAC addresses of other access points
which will join the same wireless network.
