Quick Installation Guide
A. Install GIGABYTE Anvil P1 Portable Hard Drive
1. Start up the computer, and wait until the boot procedure completes.
2. Connect one end of the USB connectors to the portable hard drive, and connect the other end to the computer.
3. The computer will automatically detect the hard drive.
*Note: Due to the limited bus power supply of some computers, it may be necessary to connect the USB power supply connector.
B. Remove GIGABYTE PURE ROCK Portable Hard Drive
Window
1. Find and click Safely Remove Hardware from toolbar.
2. Select "Disable USB Mass Storage Device".
3. Wait until the hard drive icon disappears, and then you may safely disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
MAC
1. Find the external hard drive on the desktop.
2. elect and drag it to the Trash Can to remove the icon.
3. Wait until the hard drive icon disappears, and then you may safely disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
