LED backlighting – for even more brilliance.
LED backlight technology is a modern version of illumination in LCD monitors. Grundig uses "Edge LED" technology, with small
LEDs arranged on all four sides of the monitor. They illuminate the entire surface of the panel. The result is a picture display
true to nature, in brilliant colours and with outstanding contrast. Using LEDs in LCD TVs also reduces energy consumption and
allows the housing of these models to be incredibly slim. Another advantage is the long service life of the LEDs used.
Grundig USB recording –

Turning your LCD TV into a USB video recorder: you can
record fi lms and play them back, all without an external
DVD recorder – this is USB recording. You only need a
Grundig LCD TV with USB recording functions, a suitable
USB stick or an external hard disk. Whether you want one-
touch recording of the TV channel currently on air, a pre-set
recording, or the time-shift function – many Grundig LCD TVs
allow you to benefi t from the advantages of USB recording.
For the fi rst time, this function is also integrated into the new
LED TVs with a 22" display diagonal.

with the DivX Plus HD standard.
Grundig LCD TVs with Digi SX chassis have an integrated
multimedia player, certifi ed to the DivX Plus HD standard.
DivX Plus HD is the new, state-of-the-art standard for
compressing HD videos. Many video-on-demand platforms
already use the DivX Plus HD standard. Paid content
protected by the DivX DRM code can be played on Grundig
TVs with DivX Plus HD certifi cation. Multimedia players
with DivX Plus HD certifi cation have these advantages:

Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
The greater the number of pixels, the sharper and more
detailed the picture resolution. With 1,920 x 1,080 pixels,
Full HD provides the highest picture resolution and the most
natural picture reproduction. The pictures are extremely
detailed and stunningly real due to the great depth effect.
200 Hz technology.
The 200 Hz technology quadruples the number of pictures from
50 to 200 fi elds per second. Additional intermediate pictures
can be generated between two original pictures. This means
that each fi eld is only shown for around fi ve milliseconds. The
result is outstanding, blur-free pictures with perfectly fl uid
motion at all times.
Motion Picture Improvement
by Grundig.
The new TV generation with visibly sharper and judder-free
pictures. Grundig television sets with Motion Picture Improve-
ment always provide excellent playback. The newest high
speed processing chip set calculates additional intermediate
pictures and integrates them into the appropriate motion
phases. This ensures a natural fl ow of movement and out-
standing picture quality for fast-moving scenes.
Dynamic Contrast Plus.
The picture contrast is the relationship between the brightest
and darkest picture display. Our new dynamic contrast
optimi sation ensures that the screen always guarantees
the best possible contrast for the picture content. And this
means optimally adjusted depth of focus.

Television stations broadcast 50 fi elds per second.
The 200 Hz technology generates additional fi elds and inserts them between
two original pictures. This results in outstanding pictures and completely fl uid
motion for sport scenes and ticker text, for example.
