    Safety Precautions Before cooking food or liquids in your microwave oven, please check that the following safety precautions are taken. DO NOT use any metallic cookware in the microwave oven: Metallic containers Dinnerware with gold or silver trimmings Skewers, forks, etc. Reason: Electric arcing or sparking may occur and may damage the oven.

ALWAYS allow a standing time of at least 20 seconds after the oven has been switched off to allow the temperature to equalize. Stir during heating if necessary and ALWAYS stir after heating. Do not use a scrubbing brush or a hard sponge otherwise the top layer will be demaged. As the crusty plate has a Teflon layer, if you use it incorrectly, it can be damaged.

    Setting a Standing Time The Hold Timer can be used to set a standing time automatically (without microwave cooking). You do not need to watch the clock; the oven will beep when the standing time is over. Press the HOLD TIMER button. Select the standing time by pressing the 10 min, 1 min and 10 s buttons.
