WHAT WE LIKED
•
The ability to accommodate up to 8.5" x 14" paper
and up to 80 lb. cover stock through the bypass tray and
main paper drawer.
•
An optional universal paper drawer be added for a
total paper capacity of 950 sheets.
•
A wide range of specialized media can be fed via the
bypass tray including transparencies, labels, card stock,
custom paper sizes, covers, envelopes, index cards,
preprinted paper and photo paper.
•
The paper adjustment guide located on the side of the
paper drawer provides easy adjustment when changing
paper sizes and loading additional paper supply.
•
The ability to print two-sided booklets that can
subsequently be placed in a Post Process Insertion (PPI)
unit to create a finished
Additionally, users can print multiple pages (up to 32) on a
single sheet.

Tight stacking of collated sets makes offline finishing
options such as perfect binding or professional punching

Duplexing is provided "out of the box" for the Phaser
6180DN model and is an optional for the base "N" model.

The Xerox Phaser 6180 provides front/back cover
capability, and page insertion, for the creation of
professional-looking presentation materials. Cover stock
and page separators can be of a different media type and
weight, and can be pulled from different paper sources.

What We Would Like To See
•
The ability for the main paper tray to accommodate a
full ream of media, so that replenishing paper is minimized.
•
The ability to load paper and toner while the device is
running saves improves uptime.
•
A paper indicator on the front of the main paper tray in
order to provide users with a quick indicator of how much
paper remains in the tray.
