Control S register:
Sn?: Read the S register n?, where n=0-110.
Sn=r: Set the S register n to value r (n=0-110, r=0-255).

DCE response format:
Control the result code format.
V0: Displays result code as digits.
V1: Displays result code as text (default).

Result code option:
W0: CONNECT result code reports DTE receive speed. Disable protocol result codes.
W1: CONNECT result code reports DTE receive speed. Enable protocol result codes.
W2: CONNECT result code reports DCE receive speed. Enable protocol result codes (defaults).

&C1: Turns on CD when the remote carrier is present (default).

Data terminal ready (DTR):
&D0: Ignores the DTR signal.
&D1: Return the modem to command mode after a DTR toggle.
&D2: Hangs up the modem and returns to command mode after a DTR toggle (default).
&D3: Resets the modem after a DTR toggle.

Local factory settings:
Loads the factory default configuration.

V.22bis guard tone control:
Determines which guard tone to transmit while transmitting in the high band.
&G0: Disable the guard tone (default).
&G1: Enables a 550-Hz guard tone.
