a. Cable length
5. Turn in the rear caliper adjusting bolt by
hand until it feels tight. Then turn it out
1/8 turn and tighten the locknut to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Caliper adjusting bolt locknut:
15 Nm (1.5 m·kgf, 11 ft·lbf)
CAUTION:
When tightening the locknut, hold the ad-
justing bolt with a wrench so that the ad-
justing bolt does not turn together with the
locknut.
6. Turn the parking brake cable adjusting
bolt so that there is no free play in the ca-
ble. Then tighten the parking brake cable
locknut.
