Storing a telephone number in the directory

If your phone is connected to a PABX you may have to enter the access

code (outside line code) as the first digit of your directory entry
(page 76).
Storing a telephone number in the speed dial list
You can assign one of the digits 0, 2–9 to up to nine entries on your speed dial list.
Entries with speed dial digits appear at the head of the list. Already assigned digits will
not be available. When you press and hold one of these digits with the handset in the
idle status, and then press the talk key c, you are immediately connected to the tele-
phone number that is assigned to that digit.
The maximum number of entries in the speed dial list depends on the number of entries
in the directory and email directory.

Creating the entry: Enter the telephone number.
Scroll to the next line and enter the name.
Storing an entry:
Press the display key to open the menu.
Confirm. The entry is stored.
OK
Entering an anniversary before storing:
Scroll to the Annivers.: line if you want to enter an
anniversary, as described on page 24. Then:
Now press the display key to confirm the entry.
Long press (back to idle status).

Creating the entry: Enter the telephone number.
Scroll to the PublicKey: line and enter the name.
Storing a number:
Press the display key to open the menu.
Confirm. The entry is stored.
OK
Storing a speed dial digit:
Scroll to the Enter key: line and enter a digit
(0, 2–9) for this number.
Now press the display key to store the setting.
Long press (back to idle status).
