Replacing the oven
light
If the oven light fails, it must be replaced. You can do
this yourself. Heat resistant spare bulbs are available
from your local specialist. To this end, please specify
the E number and FD number of your appliance. Only
use these bulbs.
Method:
1.
Switch off the oven fuse in the fuse box.
2.
Remove the oven carriage.
Place a tea towel in the cold oven to prevent
damage.
3.
Remove the glass cover.
Do this by inserting a spoon handle and turning it
figure A.
4.
Unscrew the oven bulb by turning it anti clockwise
and replace the bulb with one of the same type
figure B.
5.
Refit the glass cover figure C. Ensure that all the
springs engage.
6.
Remove the tea towel and insert the oven carriage.
7.
Switch on the fuse again and reset the time.
You can also replace the glass cover on the oven
light.
