Warning signal

The warning signal switches on if the
freezer compartment is too warm.
Switching off the warning signal
Press the temperature alarm button,
Fig. 2/6, to switch off the warning signal.
Door warning signal
The door warning signal switches on if the
appliance doors are open for longer than
one minute.
Temperature warning
AL" flashes on the temperature display 1.
The temperature warning noise switches
on if the freezer compartment is too warm
and the frozen food is at risk of thawing.
When the temperature alarm button 6
is pressed, the temperature display
indicates for five seconds the warmest
temperature reached in the freezer
compartment.
Then this value is deleted. Temperature
display 1 indicates the set freezer
compartment temperature without
flashing.
Henceforth the warmest temperature will
be redefined and stored.
The warning signal may switch on without
any risk to the frozen food:
S When the appliance is switched on.
S When large quantities of fresh food are
placed in the appliance.
S If the freezer compartment door is open
too long.

Usable capacity

Information on the usable capacity can be
found inside your appliance on the rating
plate.
Fully utilising the freezer
volume
The maximum amount of food can be
placed in the freezer by removing several
fittings. The food can be stacked directly
on the freezer shelves.
Note
To comply with the values indicated on
the rating plate, the fittings at the very
top and bottom should remain in the
appliance.
Removing the fittings:
S Pull out the freezer drawer all the way,
lift at the front and remove. Fig. 4
S Open freezer compartment flap, hold
one of the bearing pins and remove flap.

S If appliances feature an ice maker,
the latter can be taken out. Fig. 6
