Use
Power sources
Tills set sbould be operated only fiOln tile
type of power source indicated on tbe
seriaI/rnodel plate. If you are riot sure of
tile type of electrical power supplied to
your tlorne, consult your dealer or local
power company, l"or tbose sets designed to
operate fIom battery powel; refer to tile
operatirlg instructions.
For the set with a polarized AC power
cord plug
Ttlis plug will fit into tile power outlet only
one way. This is a safety feature, if you are
unable to insert tile plug fully into ttle
outlet, t_ y reversing the plug. If the plug
stlould still fail to fit, contact your
electrician to bare a suitable outlet
installed. Do not defeat tile safety purpose
of the polarized plug by forcing it in.
Grounding or Polarization
Tills set is equipped wittl a polarized AC
power cord plug (a plug baving one [)lade
wider than tbe otbeO, or with a ttlree wire
grounding type plug (a plug having a third
pin for grounding).

Alternate Warning
For the set with a three-wire
grounding type AC plug
Tbis plug will only fit into a giounding-
type power outlet. Tbis is a safety feature.
If you are unable to insert tile plug into tbe
outlet, contact your electrician to have a
suitable outlet installed. Do not defeat tbe
safety purpose of tbe grounding plug.
