• When connecting to PC, for the power source, it is recommended to use the AC
adaptor.
• For further information, read the supplied operating instructions for USB
connection kit.
• When recording the motion image, the motion image file (MOV format) and the
still picture file (JPEG format) are produced. The thumbnail of the motion image
files cannot be displayed.
• When connecting the camera to PC via the supplied USB cable, the pictures can
be displayed in the thumbnail format, but may not be displayed on the file format.
In this case, open the files after copying them to PC.

[Preparation]
Only if using Windows, start the supplied
CD from PC and install the USB driver.

Connect the camera to PC via the
supplied USB cable.

After inserting the memory card into
the camera, set the playback [
power switch to [ON].

The drive is shown on the [My
computer] folder.
• If it is the first time you connect the
camera to PC, the required driver is
installed automatically in order to let
the camera be recognized by the
Windows plug and play, then it is
shown on the [My computer] folder.
[Macintosh]
The drive is shown on the screen.
