• Install voice data: allows the installation of necessary data
required for voice synthesis.
• Speech rate: adjusts the rate at which onscreen text is spoken by
the device. Choose from: Very slow, Slow, Normal, Fast, and
Very fast.
• Language: assigns the language used for verbal readout. The
available selection depends on the chosen synthesis engine.
• Samsung TTS: configures the Samsung TTS setting for voice
effects and displays a list of installed languages.
• Pico TTS: displays the pico TTS installed languages.
Accessibility Settings
Lets you enable and disable downloaded accessibility applications
that aid in navigating your Android device, such as TalkBack (uses
synthesized speech to describe the results of actions), KickBack
(provides haptic feedback for actions), and SoundBack (plays
sounds for various actions). Also lets you enable use of the power
key to end calls.
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Accessibility to enable the use of accessibility

applications (indicated by a green check mark).
Tap each accessibility service that you want to use.

Activation is indicated by a green check mark.
Settings
Note: The only accessibility application provided with your phone is Talkback.
Other applications are available from Android Market.
Dock Settings
This menu allows you to select the Audio output mode when using
a car or desk dock.
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Audio output mode to use the external dock speakers

Date and Time
This menu allows you to change the current time and date
displayed.
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Automatic to allow automatic setting of the date and

setting.
