Problem
Cannot copy scenes on
the SD card by
connecting to other
equipment with the USB
cable.
Problem
When connected by the
USB cable, this unit is
not detected by the PC.
When the USB cable is
disconnected, an error
message will appear on
the PC.
Cannot see the PDF
operating instructions
for HD Writer LE 1.0.
Cannot import AVCHD
scenes with iMovie'11.
Problem
If the SD card is inserted
in this unit, it is not
recognised.
With other products
≥ Other equipment might have not recognised the SD card.
Unplug the USB cable once, and reconnect it.
With a PC
≥ After re-inserting the SD card into the unit, reconnect the
supplied USB cable.
≥ Select another USB terminal on the PC.
≥ Check the operating environment. (l 78, 87)
≥ Connect the supplied USB cable again after restarting the
PC and turning on this unit again.
≥ To disconnect the USB cable safely, double-click the
icon in the task tray and follow the instructions on the
screen.
≥ You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later or
Adobe Reader 7.0 or later to read the PDF operating
instructions for HD Writer LE 1.0.
≥ You may not be able to import AVCHD scenes with
iMovie'11 when both AVCHD scenes and iFrame scenes
are recorded on a single media (an SD card or built-in
memory). In such a case, first copy all the iFrame scenes
data to iMovie'11, delete all the iFrame scenes data on
the media, and then import the AVCHD scenes with
iMovie'11.
Others
≥ If the SD card is formatted on a PC, it may not be
recognised by this unit. Use this unit to format SD cards.
