About system functions
NOTE
Do not connect any of the past models to this unit with a
system cable because they are incompatible.
Device supporting system
connections (sold separately)
DRA-F109 (STEREO RECEIVER)
With system functions, operations are controlled by the DRA-F109.
Be sure to connect the DRA-F109 using system connections.
What you can do with the system
functions
When system connections are made between the DCD-F109
and DRA-F109 (stereo receiver, sold separately), the operations
described below can be performed.
n The DCD-F109 can be operated using the remote
control unit included with the DRA-F109.

Making system connections
In addition to connection of the audio cables, also connect the
system cable.
Also, connect the DCD-F109's power cord to the AC outlet on the
DRA-F109 (stereo receiver, sold separately).
NOTE
Be sure to plug the DRA-F109's power cord into a wall power outlet.

System functions
Auto power on function
CD
When
or
pressed, the power of the respective
devices turns on and the DRA-F109's
source switches automatically.
Alarm function
System cable
Playback can be performed at a set time using the DRA-
F109's alarm function.
• For details, see the owner's manual of the DRA-F109 (stereo
receiver, sold separately).
Auto standby function
When you set the auto standby function to ON for either of DRA-F109
or DCD-F109, the auto standby function works on the entire F109
system.
