Switching to Radio Mode

Press the
button to select radio mode from
RADIO
navigation mode or CD/Aux mode. The last selected
waveband will be recalled. The display will show the
desired data (frequency, station call letters, time, etc.)
for the last selection.
All changes with radio mode are done through the radio
menu mode. Press the
RADIO
radio menu mode.

Selecting the FM Waveband

Press the
button to select radio menu mode.

Press the
multifunction key if the unit is currently
on the AM waveband. Once you have selected the FM
waveband, the display will show FM to indicate that you
are in FM mode along with the operational level for FM.

Select the operational level for FM by repeatedly
pressing the
multifunction key. Selection can be
made between Stations Fix, Stations RDS, DAS Seek
Qual., and DAS Seek Name. (See page 76 for
descriptions of each of the operational levels.)
Once you have made your selection, press the
button to return to radio mode. The unit will time out and
return to radio mode after 8 seconds without pressing a
key. The display will show the desired data (frequency,
station call letters, time, etc.) upon returning to radio
mode.

Channel Selection for FM Operation

The desired station can be selected through station
search, scan search, manual tuning, storing/recalling
stations or dynamic autostore.
