    Overview This chapter describes how to connect your Gateway Connected DVD Player to your TV, audio system, and home network. You need to complete these steps in the following order: Set up your network and make sure that your home network is working correctly.

    A wired Ethernet network consists of two or more devices connected through an Ethernet cable. Your Gateway Connected DVD Player came with a wireless 802.11g network PC Card. Important If you are using a wireless network with an access point, be sure to configure the access point according to the manufacturer's instructions before continuing.

    To install Media Server: Turn on the computer, then close all open programs. Insert the Gateway Connected DVD Player Installation CD into the CD drive on your computer. The install wizard starts. If you are prompted to enter the CD key, you can find it printed on the CD insert.
