TURNING THE ANSWERING SYSTEM ON/OFF

1) To turn the answering system on,
press . A tone sounds and
answer
the current outgoing message
plays on the base speaker. A
second tone sounds after the
outgoing message plays and the
message counter LED turns on to
indicate that the unit is ready to
answer calls.
2) To turn the answering system off,
press again. A tone
answer
sounds followed by the
announcement "Answer off" and
the message counter LED
turns off.

SETTING THE CLOCK

The clock on the EXS9800 Answering System starts when power is
applied to the base. Follow these steps to set the clock to the
correct time:
1) Press and hold until a
clock
beep sounds.
