Entering Advanced Configuration Mode
Note:
Before configuring the features, make sure
your radio is set to the channel you wish to
program. You can do so before entering
Advanced Configuration Mode or at any
time during the Advanced Configuration
Mode by pressing the SB2 button until you
reach the desired channel.
To read or modify Frequencies, Codes, Auto-
Scan and Active Channels, set the radio to
'Advanced Configuration Mode' by long
pressing both the PTT and the SB1 button
simultaneously for 3 to 5 seconds while turning
ON the radio until you hear an audible voice
saying "Programming Mode" and "Channel
Number". The LED Indicator starts blinking a
green heartbeat.
Note:
'Idle' Programming Mode is the stage in the
Programming Mode where the radio waits
for the user to start the radio programming
cycle.
Once you are in the 'Idle' Programming Mode,
you will be able to hear the Frequencies,
Codes, Auto-Scan and Active Channels
settings by short pressing the PTT button to
navigate along the different programmable
features.

Entering Frequencies Values

in USA and 2 frequencies for Canada UHF.
In 'Idle' Programming mode, the Channel
number becomes the first changeable value.
Move the Channel Up or Channel Down using
the SB1 and SB2 button. An audible voice
indicated the selected channel to configure.
Short pressing the PTT button allows you to
cycle through the other features available for
configuration. Use the SB1 and SB2 button to
change the values. An audible voice indicates
