the vehicle, especially with the igni-
tion key still inserted. They could
use the moon roof switches and get
trapped in the roof opening. Unat-
tended children can become
volved in serious accidents.

Never sit on top of the vehicle
around the roof opening.

Never try jamming any part of your
body to make the jam protection
function work intentionally.

The jam protection function may
not work if something gets caught
just before the moon roof is fully
closed.

NOTICE
_ There is the possibility that water
or rain will get into the vehicle if
you operate the moon roof after a
rainfall, snowfall or car wash. Wipe
in-
the moon roof dry with a cloth be-
fore operating it.
_ Do not touch the plastic resin moon
roof with anything hard or sharp.
The roof is damaged more easily
than ordinary glass.
_ When
washing the plastic
moon roof, use a mild soap or neu-
tral detergent. Do not use wax, win-
dow cleaner or abrasive
er—these may damage the plastic
resin moon roof. (See "Washing and
waxing your Toyota" in Section 5.)
_ Do
not use organic substances
(gasoline, kerosene, benzine
strong solvents), which may toxic
or cause damage.
_ Do not use window scraper or deic-
er when the plastic resin moon roof
is heavily coated with frost or ice.
The plastic resin moon roof is easi-
ly damaged.
