USING THE PEN
The Intuos pen senses the amount of pressure you apply to the pen.
There are four basic techniques for using the pen on the active area of the tablet: pointing, clicking, double-
clicking, and dragging. If you are unfamiliar with using the pen, try the exercises on the following pages.

The tablet active
Note: The pen disengages touch whenever the pen tip or eraser is within the proximity range. Proximity
range is
within approximately 14 mm (0.5 inch) of the tablet surface.
Lift the pen and your hand away from the tablet active area to enable touch.
Use the slider switch on the back corner of the Intuos to enable or disable touch.
