Eliminating minor faults yourself
Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself based on the following
information.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the appliance is still under
guarantee!
Fault
Temperature differs
greatly from the set
value.
Light does not
function.
Floor of the
refrigerator
compartment is wet.
The appliance
interior is not cold.

Possible cause
The bulb is defective. Change the bulb Fig. 6/A
Light switch is
sticking. Fig. 6/B.
The condensation
drainage pipe is
blocked Fig. 4.
Appliance door
opened frequently.
A lot of bottles were
placed in the
appliance.
Remedial action
In some cases it is adequate to
switch off the appliance for
5 minutes.
If the temperature is too high
wait a few hours and check
whether the temperature has
approached the set value.
If the temperature is too low
check the temperature again the
next day.
1. Pull out the mains plug or
disconnect the fuse.
2. Remove the bulb cover from
the rear.
3. Change the bulb:
Replacement bulb 220--240
a.c., E14 bulbholder, see
defective bulb for wattage.
Check whether it can be moved.
Clean the condensation channel
and the outlet (see "Cleaning the
appliance")
Do not open the door
unnecessarily.
wait 2--3 days.
