Mainboard (K7VZA) Installation Notes
Most of the sub-folders in this folder are empty, with a short
README file giving directions to alternate folders for the
appropriate software.
Audio Software
This folder has software and drivers for the sound system that is
integrated on this mainboard. Drivers are provided for Windows
2000/ME/98/95, Windows NT, and DOS.
DOS Installation
Browse to the VIA\AC97AUDIO\DOS folder on the driver CD-
ROM and run the INSTALL program.
Windows 2000/ME/98/95 Installation
Browse to the \VIA\AC97AUDIO\ folder and run SETUP.EXE to
install the audio driver for your operating system.
Windows NT 4.0 Installation
Browse to the \VIA\AC97AUDIO\ folder, then browse to the
WINNT40\Setup subfolder, and run the SETUP.EXE for your
operating system.
IDE Software
This folder has software and drivers for the IDE that is integrated
on this mainboard. Drivers are provided for Windows
2000/ME/98/95, Windows NT.
Windows 2000/ME/98/95/NT Installation
Browse to the \VIA\IDE\ folder and run SETUP.EXE to install the
IDE driver for your operating system.
