What to do if ...

Problem
The oven does not heat up
The oven lighting is not op-
erating
The pyrolysis function is
not working ("C1" is shown
in the time display)
F2 appears in the clock dis-
play
An error code not listed
above appears in the time
display
If you are unable to remedy the problem by following the above
suggestions, please contact your dealer or the Customer Care De-
partment.
Warning! Repairs to the appliance are only to be carried out by quali-
fied service engineers. Considerable danger to the user may result from
improper repairs.
Possible cause
The oven has not been
switched on
The clock has not been set
to the current time
The required settings have
not been set
The ovenís safety cut-out
has been triggered
The house wiring fuse (in
the fuse box) has tripped
The oven light bulb is
faulty
Side rails/oven shelf
runners have not been re-
moved
Door not properly closed or
door lock defective
Electronic error
Remedy
Switch on the oven
Set the clock to the cur-
rent time
Check the settings
See Oven Safety Cut-out
Check fuse If the fuses trip
several times, please call a
qualified electrician
Replace oven bulb
Remove side rails/oven
shelf runners
Close door properly;
Turn the appliance off and
on again via the house
fuse or the safety switch in
the fuse box;
If displayed again, please
contact the Customer Care
Department
Switch the appliance off
and on again by way of the
house wiring fuse or the
circuit breaker in the fuse
box.
If the display appears
again, please contact cus-
tomer service
