Installation

Unpacking
All transit bolts and packing must be
removed before using the appliance.
Slide out the polythene bag with the
polystyrene stuffing before using the
appliance Pull off adhesive strips from
inside machine on top of drum.

Do not install the appliance behind
– a door that locks
– a sliding door
– a door with a hinge that lies opposite
the hinge of the appliance.
Remove the rack
The dryi n g rack offers the possi b i l i t y of dryi n g
washabl e wool l e n fabri c s and sports shoes. The
dryi n g rack does not turn wi t h the cl o thes-dryer
drum. Thi s al l o ws the dryi n g of wool l e n garments or
sports shoes. When wet, the wool must be moved
as l i t tl e as possi b l e because i t tends to become
matted. Sports shoes coul d damage the drum due
to thei r wei g ht.
1. Li f t the rack out of the pol y styrene protecti o n used
for transport and remove i t from the cl o thes-dryer
drum.
2. Remove the pi e ces of pol y styrene from the drum
one at a ti m e.
3. Remove the el a sti c band from the rack and the
rack contai n e.
Positioning
It is recommended that, for your
convenience, the machine is positioned
close to your washing machine.
The tumble dryer must be installed in a
clean place, where dirt does not build up.
Air must be able to circulate freely all
round the appliance. Do not obstruct the
front ventilation grille or the air intake
grilles at the back of the machine.
To keep vibration and noise to a
minimum when the dryer is in use, it
should be placed on a firm, level surface.
Once in its permanent operating
position, check that the dryer is
absolutely level with the aid of a spirit
level. If it is not, raise or lower the feet
until it is.
The feet must never be removed. Do not
restrict the floor clearance through
deeppile carpets, strips of wood or
similar. This might cause heat build-up
which would interfere with the operation
of the appliance.

The hot air emitted by the tumble dryer
can reach temperatures of up to 60°C.
The appliance must therefore not be
installed on floors which are not resistant
