3000 SC. To make use of either of these features requires the purchase of accessories which are obtainable separately:- A special socket enables the ESTIME 3000 AMF to be powered from a 12 volt car battery via the Switched Mode Module accessory (Part Number BW-2906). -

‘Photocell’ push button (13) is illuminated the sounder is switched ‘ON’. Press the ‘Photocell’ push button to toggle between Photocell ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’. Three ‘Sync.’ sockets are provided on the control panel of the ESTIME 3000 AMF and two on the ESTIME 3000 SC. One standard European 6.5mm jack socket and one three blade socket as used in the U.S.A. -

Using this socket with the supplied special AMF sync. lead the generator will flash as soon as it comes to ‘READY’ for as long as the socket contacts are held closed. The ‘B’ shutter setting of most mechanical and electronic cameras will provide this function. -

12. Battery Supply (27) FIG 4 The ESTIME 3000 AMF may be powered from a 12 volt car battery via the Switch Mode Power Supply Module accessory, (BW-2906). No modelling is available when this is used. IMPORTANT: THE SWITCHED MODE POWER SUPPLY MODULE MUST NEVER BE CONNECTED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE MAINS SUPPLY. -

14. Safety Summary ESTIME 3000 generators must only be used on an AC (Alternating Current) mains supply. Never connect to a DC (Direct Current) supply (except when using the Switch Mode Power Supply module via its dedicated supply socket). Never attempt to use any other type of Switch Mode Power Supply. -
