  • Page 37 Everyday use of the SETTINGS MENU Smell filter The energy consumption is higher when the smell filter is activated. If the smell filter is deactivated in the SETTINGS MENU menu, it will automati- cally switch itself on after 100 operating hours, during a baking or roasting cy- cle, in order to self-clean.
  • Page 38 EXTRA TIME MENU Allows the last oven function to continue to run after the time has elapsed. Pre-condition: • All oven functions with DURATION or Auto Weight. • No oven functions with MEATPROBE. The EXTRA TIME MENU can be switched on and off in the SETTINGS MENU menu.
  • Page 39 Pre-heating with the RAPID HEAT UP function After an oven function has been selected, with the additional function RAPID HEAT UP the pre-heating time can be shortened. Pre-heating the empty oven is unnecesssary for most baking and roasting ses- sions, because the temperature set is generally reached in a short time (see Ta- bles and Tips).

    Reminder function for pyrolytic cleaning The reminder function detects when pyrolytic cleaning is required and alerts the user to this fact. The reminder function is switched on when the appliance is set to the factory settings. It can be switched on and off in the Options menu under the menu option CLEANING MENU.

    Oven Shelf Runner The shelf support rails on the left and right hand sides of the oven can be re- moved for cleaning the side walls. Removing the shelf support rails First pull the front of the rail away from the oven wall and then unhitch at the back.

    Oven door For easier cleaning of the oven interior the oven door of your appliance can be taken off its hinges. Removing the oven door from its hinges 1. Open the oven door as far as it will go. 2. Undo the clamping levers (A) on both door hinges fully.

    Oven door glass The oven door is fitted with four panels of glass mounted one behind the other. The inner panels can be removed for cleaning. Important Rough handling, especially around the edges of the front panel, can cause the glass to break. Removing door glass panels 1.
