What to do if ...

Problem
The cooking zones will not
switch on or are not function-
ing

not displaying anything

More than 10 seconds have
passed since the appliance
was switched on
The child safety device is
switched on
Several sensor fields were
touched at the same time
Automatic switch off has been
triggered
The cooking zone was only on
for a short time and is therefore
not hot
The Power function function
has already been activated
several times quickly one after
the other
Power Management is reduc-
ing the power of this cooking
zone
Unsuitable cookware
No cookware on the cooking
zone
The diameter of the bottom of
the cookware is too small for
the cooking zone
Overheating protection for the
cooking zone has been trig-
gered
Automatic switch off has been
triggered

Remedy
Switch the appliance on again.
Deactivate the child safety de-
vice (See the section "Child
safety device")
Only touch one sensor field
Remove any objects (pan,
cloths, etc.) that are lying on
the control panel. Switch the
appliance on again
If the cooking zone is sup-
posed to be hot, call the Cus-
tomer Service Department.
Let cooking surface cool
down.

Use suitable cookware
Place cookware on the cook-
ing zone
Move onto a smaller cooking
zone
