Network connections

You can connect to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and
use the connection to send and receive email messages
and to browse the internet. You can also connect to any
private network, such as a corporate network you use at
work.
The network settings for internet connections are
preconfigured by your service provider.
Connect to work

Obtain the following information from your network
administrator: server phone number, user name, and
password.

From the Start menu, select
Connections.

My Work Network, set up a modem, VPN server
connection, or proxy server.

When the connection is successfully configured, run
the Internet Explorer to begin browsing the internet.
Your device will automatically attempt to connect.
End a connection
To disconnect,
When connected via dial-up or VPN, open the shortcuts
icon, and then select Disconnect.
