Exhaust Pipe Installation
1. Install a new exhaust pipe gasket, exhaust pipe and
exhaust pipe joint nuts and tighten to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 15 lbf ft (21 N m, 2.1 kgf m)
(1) EXHAUST PIPE GASKET
(2) EXHAUST PIPE
(3) EXHAUST PIPE JOINT NUTS
2. Install the muffler (page 56).

CONTROL CABLES

Lubrication
Periodically, disconnect the throttle, clutch and hot start
cables at their upper ends. Thoroughly lubricate the
cable pivot points and the inside of clutch cable end
adjuster with a commercially available cable lubricant.
Be certain that the throttle cable has no kinks or other
damage so the throttle slide will return properly.
