2. Selecting a MIDI file
Press the
or
buttons to move the selection cursor, then
press the
FUNCTION button (SELECT) to select the MIDI file.
The MIDI play screen will be shown in the LCD display.
3. Playing the selected MIDI file
Press the PLAY/STOP button.
The selected MIDI file will start to play, and information about
the file will be shown in the LCD display.

Controlling MIDI file playback
While the MIDI file is playing:
Press the PLAY/STOP button to pause and resume playback.
Press the
or
buttons to rewind or advance the playing
position of the MIDI file.
Press the
or
buttons to adjust the playback volume of the
MIDI file.
* The playback volume can be adjusted within the range of 1 - 128.
Press the
FUNCTION button (A-B) twice to set the start and
end points of the A-B loop.
* Pressing the A-B button for a third time will turn off the loop.
USB Player Edit menu
The USB Player Edit menu allows the playback mode (Single, 1-Repeat, All-Repeat, Random) to be changed, the tempo of the MIDI song to
be adjusted, and the pitch of the keyboard or song to be transposed in semi-tone steps. Please refer to page 56 for more information.
Convert MIDI to Audio function
The Convert MIDI to Audio function allows MIDI files or CS10 recorder songs stored on a USB memory device to be converted to MP3/WAV
audio files. Please refer to page 57 for more information.
Exiting USB playback mode
Press the
FUNCTION button (BACK) to exit USB playback
mode and return to normal operation.
* The CS10 digital piano does not contain the full General MIDI/GM2
Playing
sound bank selection. Consequently, some SMF song files may not be
position
reproduced entirely accurately when played through the instrument.
