2. Stop the engine and remove the
oil filler cap.
NOTE:
Wait a few minutes until the oil settles
before checking.
3. Wipe the oil off the dipstick.
Insert the dipstick back into the
engine oil filler hole, but do not
screw it in. Then pull out the dip-
stick again.
The oil level should be between
the minimum and
marks on the dipstick. If the level
is low, add sufficient oil through
the engine oil filler hole to reach
the specified level.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIR
1. Drain bolt
Engine oil replacement
1. Warm up the engine for a few
minutes.
2. Stop the engine. Place an oil pan
under the engine to catch the oil
and remove the oil filler cap.
3. Remove the drain bolt and drain
the oil.

NOTE:
Make sure the washer is seated
properly.

4. Check the washer and replace it
if damaged.
5. Install the washer and drain bolt,
and then tighten the drain bolt to
the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Drain bolt:
20 Nm (2.0 m0kg)
