Maintenance Section

Admin Password:
This section allows you to set a password for your admin
account. By default there is no password configured. It is
highly recommended that you set an admin password in
order to keep your system secure.
System:
The System Settings section allows you to restart the
system, shutdown the system, or restore the device to
the factory default setting. Restoring the unit to factory
settings will erase all settings, including any rules that
you have created.
Firmware Upgrade:
A new firmware update may be available for your
ShareCenter Pulse. It is recommended that you keep
your ShareCenter Pulse firmware up-to-date in order to
maintain and improve the functionality and performance
of your system.
E-mail Alerts:
This section allows you to configure e-mails to be sent to you when certain operational and drive status conditions are present. These alerts can
prove helpful in managing and safeguarding important data.
Power Management:
This section allows you to enable or disable the Hibernation function.
RAID:
This section allows you to setup a RAID configuration on the selected hard drives. Please note that the data stored on the drives will be erased
during the formatting process.
Dynamic DNS:
The Dynamic DNS feature allows you to host a server using a domain name that you have purchased with your dynamically assigned IP
address.
Disk Diagnostic:
This section allows you to perform a health test on your hard drives. In addition, you can set a schedule for your tests and receive email
notifications.
