    Basic Operations and Setups How to read the printouts • The journal and receipts are records of all transactions and operations. • The contents printed on receipts and journal are almost identical. • You can choose the journal skip function (page 66). If the journal skip function is selected, the cash register will print the total amount of each transaction, and the details of premium, discount and reduction operations only, without printing department and PLU item registra- tions on the journal.
