TROUBLE SHOOTING CONTINUED
Problem: Coffee is too hot.
Solution:
• Press the HOT button and wait until the light is steady.
Problem: Coffee is not hot enough.
Solution:
• Press the HOTTER SETTING button and wait until the light is steady.
• If still not hot enough at hotter setting, use the manual button to despense a
cup of water to pre heat, then make your espresso as indicated on page 6.
Problem: SHORT /LONG buttons flash quickly; all buttons are
non-functional; or some buttons are off.
Solution:
• That indicates the coffee boiler detects low or high temperature. Recover the
unit by unplugging it and let the unit cool down for approximately 10 minutes.
Problem: Short /Long /Manual/
Steam buttons flash.
Solution:
• Refill the water reservoir or make sure it is properly engaged on the base.
Problem: Steam /Cappuccino
Solution:
• Install or properly engage the milk tank with no capsule in the brew head.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove lid from water reservoir. Lift off base with handle and fill with fresh cold water. Replace reservoir
and lid. Using tracks as guide, slide back into position and push down firmly.
2. Insert plug into power outlet and press power button once. Controls will flash as unit preheats; lights turn
steady when ready.
3. Place a mug on drip tray, then press Manual
again to stop flow.
4. Place espresso cups on warming plate. Lights will all be on and steady. The machine is now ready to use.
