Changing the LCD
settings
If your player's battery
is down to one bar, the
backlight may not turn
on.
To set the contrast level for your player's screens
1. Press and hold the Menu scroller.
2. Scroll select Display.
3. Scroll select the LCD Contrast submenu.
4. Use the Menu scroller to increase or decrease the LCD contrast. The
lower the number, the lower the LCD contrast.
5. To exit, press the Play/Pause button three times.
To adjust the screen backlight duration
1. Press and hold the Menu scroller.
2. Scroll select Display.
3. Scroll select the Back Light sub-menu.
4. Scroll Select the backlight duration. A lower number setting conserves
battery power for longer playback time.
5. To exit, press the Play/Pause button three times.
To turn on the backlight
Press any button. How long the backlight stays on depends on the duration
you set in Menu mode.
To change the Visualizer settings
1. Press and hold the Menu scroller.
2. Scroll select Display.
3. Scroll select Visualizer.
4. Scroll select the visual option you want.
5. To exit, press the Play/Pause button twice.
