METAL / CURRENT DETECTOR
PMD43 USER'S GUIDE
Thanks for buying our product. Please go through the
instruction manual before using the meter and carefully
follow these safety rules.
1) Locate battery cover and turn it counter-clock wise
using a coin to open.
2) Insert the battery in the sleeve and close (battery
not included).
3) Turn on the device by turning the wheel.
Keep turning the wheel until the indicator light
comes on and the alarm sounds.
Make sure that no metal or conductive object is
near the unit. Turn the wheel in the reverse
direction until the light and alarm turn off. The
device will then be ready to use.
4) If the indicator light does not work, turn the wheel a
half turn and slowly turn the adjustment resistor
using a screwdriver until the alarm comes on or
goes off according to the desired setting.
5) To detect metal objects, hold the device by the
handle and move the device horizontally against
the wall. The alarm will sound when there is a
metallic object nearby.
6) Electrically conductive objects will be indicated by a
flashing light that will become continuous when the
device is close to the conductor.

Once the light goes off, turn the wheel a little further to narrow the detection zone. SAFETY When the device indicates “no current” (no flashing light), check the device by operating it close to a place where you know there is a current before touching the conductor.
