  • Page 3 Assembly Turn clockwise to loosen the end of tube sleeve, and insert the tube which connects to the search-coil in the sleeve. Adjust the length, so you can stand comfortably and straighten your arms. Lock the sleeve counter-clockwise when the search-coil is 1/2 inch from the ground.(See fig.1 and fig.2) Fig2 2.
  • Page 4 Fig5 Batteries Please use 6 alkaline AA batteries. 1. Press the “key” on the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, pull off the battery cover.( See fig 6) Fig6 2. Insert the 6 AA batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols marked inside the compartment.

    Quick Start To help you master how to operate the MD6009 metal detector quickly, we suggest that you should read the quick start carefully, and practice indoors. When you are familiar with the detector, you can hunt for the treasures just about anywhere. 1.

     Press the red TARGET button on the handle, the detector comes into the no-motion mode. Only if it approaches metal, the detector will respond.  Let a 25¢ coin approach the search coil slowly, when it’s about 5 inches from the centre of the search coil, the unit will sound a continuous long tone, and the pointer will swing.(Fig 18) Figure.18...

  • Page 13 5. Move the search-coil When moving the search-coil, you should move it at a constant speed, not unsteadily.   • Page 14 Let the search coil approach the ground without any metals, if the unit sounds a tone, please repeat the above operation (Release and then press the TARGET button again) until the detector does not sound a tone. Slowly move the search coil in the region that you find target object, In the position that the detector will sound a tone.
