The front slot error has occurred.
The maintenance cartridge is full.
Non-genuine maintenance
cartridge is installed.

The maintenance cartridge is not
set in the printer.
The ink cartridge is nearly
expended.
Something may be placed on
the printer (ink cover).
The printer could not feed the
paper.
Press the Paper Feed/Down d
button, and then remove the
paper from the front manual
feed slot.
Replace the maintenance
cartridge with a new one. See
"Replacing the Maintenance
Cartridge" on page 138.
Replace the maintenance
cartridge with a genuine Epson
cartridge. See "Replacing the
Maintenance Cartridge" on
page 138 and "Consumable
Products" on page 190.
Select No (press the
Menu/Right r button) to replace
the maintenance cartridge with
a genuine Epson maintenance
cartridge. See "Replacing the
Maintenance Cartridge" on
page 138. Otherwise, select YES
(press the Back/Left l button).
Select DECLINE (press the
Menu/Right r button) to replace
the maintenance cartridge with
a genuine Epson maintenance
cartridge. Selecting ACCEPT
(press the Back/Left l button)
may void EPSON's warranty.
Install the maintenance
cartridge.
Replace the ink cartridge with a
new one. See "Replacing Ink
Cartridges" on page 133 for
details.
Remove whatever is placed on
the printer (ink cover). Then press
the Ink Cover Open/Up u button.
Set the paper correctly, and then
press the Paper Feed/Down d
button.
